The Penguin's Blog

About

Hey, there!

A quick introduction if you don't know me yet, I'm Jazz, the webmaster/webmistress for this website, where you'll find the occasional blog post from me. I'm pretty big into computer science, mostly in the realms of Linux, BSD, hardware, and whatnot, but I'm also interested in other things like music and progressive rock (think Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Tool), photography, audio fidelity, cybersecurity, and guitar & bass.

Many thanks to both Willa and Istavare, who inspired and helped me to actually get this blog up and running. It's been a project in the back of my mind for months at this point, and I did originally host my blog on blahaj.icu using a different server stack, but later switched to the website you're reading this on right now.

Willa has been writing posts for way longer, and a lot of her stuff is a good read. Plus, she's the main source of inspiration setting up this site. Check her out under the Other People section.

Istavare gave me the source code to his website, and allowed me to fork it to create this blog. What you're seeing now wouldn't be possible without him, so check him out too!
